Small Church Interior Sparkles With Chandelier Lighting

If a church is lucky enough, it has lots of natural light. Add chandelier lighting to that and the whole interior will feel sparkling and “Heavenly.” Add a nice, light wall color with some places of fresh white paint and you have upgraded your church interior!

Pale Blue and Aqua Walls Upgrade and Refresh Church Interior

This church is a great example of simply adding a soft color of wall paint to help break apart the browns and tans. We are no longer in a place of taupe upon taupe upon taupe. Don’t be afraid of a little color to update your church interior.

Blue Pews and Pops of White Brighten Small Church Space

This space has great lighting both natural and overhead light. The puppet is refreshed with two-tone, white paint on the bottom. The stone baptismal pool is refreshed with some white paint as well. See how easily this space is upgraded with a little white paint?

Simplicity With Natural Lighting And Gorgeous Craftsman Windows

I know, the clarity on this picture is rough! However, what a gorgeous church space. They just don’t make craftsman windows like this anymore. The inlaid stain glasswork is also wonderful. Repeating, simple, small light fixtures also brighten up the space. Neutral walls are paired with rich wood all throughout. A deep, royal blue pew upholstery. compliments the rest of it.

Neutral Tans Create Calm Church Interior Design

This church space is definitely an architectural feat. I will say, the tan, tone-on-tone is not really my cup of tea. However, it does feel a little like a spa retreat in Colorado or Utah! Nevertheless, if neutrals is your game-plan, this church interior design does give you a good palette and guide to work from!

Neutral Backdrop, Cherry-Wood Pews, And Green Plants

Two-Tone Color Plan is Winning Combination

Whitneyalleyclark | Welcome

This green-grey wall color is a beautiful and calming color. It’s one of those perfect combinations that you can’t quite put your finger on. That’s why I’m linking you readers to another article I’ve written on a color similar to this! If you need a potential, exact paint color, here is one to hold onto!

Church Interior Design Pictures For Further Inspiration

The main focal point of this church interior is the Austin-stone pulpit backdrop and it’s oversized, circular, stained- glass-window. This basic, yet dramatic design feature is a great plan to implement if you want a small-budget upgrade with large visual impact.

Cozy Church Interior with Decorative Carpet Runner & Red Pews

What a fun retro-yet-current design idea…patterned carpet runners in the aisles of the pews! Say goodbye to boring solids, a multi-color carpet pattern is good at hiding dirt and never met a stranger they didn’t like! If you’re unsure, I say go bold. Choose a unique carpet-runner design for your next church space!

Small Church Interior Design Pictures – Simple, Clean, Modern

This may be the next, closest visual you need to help finish out your small church interior design. The warm wood panels that accent the stage, help break up the grey, white and black. And this warmth is needed! Other accenting features that could help the stage not appear so bear could be fiddle-leaf fig plants on either side. And then a smaller plant next to it.

Unlikely Pea Green and White Against Neutral Backdrop

There is something deep inside me that is drawn to this color scheme. Yes, it is a rendered visual (not real life). But, I like the pea-green or “Citrine” colored runner, as well as the matching green choir chairs. This color was in my grandmother’s house and she always pulled off that room well, in every design sense!

Another great trick for lightening up a church sanctuary is painting the ends of the pews bright-white. Continue with the bright white for the base of the stage and the pulpit, and you’re closer to a brighter, final product!

Warm-Wood Paneled Church Ceiling

We do live in a time where “Modern Farmhouse” is a thing. By taking this traditional church’s vaulted ceiling and adding warm-wood paneling, the space is immediately transformed and updated. It has a farmhouse feel instead of an “older-church-feel.”

Crisp White and Teal Church Interior Design

Do you have a limited budget but need a fresh change for your church interior? Perhaps your church home looks similar to the above space. It has wooden pews throughout and taupe walls. Well, how about changing all of the carpet to a deep jewel-toned teal? Although carpet is not my top preference for sanitation purposes, this church interior does have an aesthetic to pops.

This concludes our look into small church interior design pictures. I hope each space has given you new ideas for your next church renovation!
