Farrow and Ball Mizzle images are probably one of the most helpful ways to explore this complex color. A subtle gray-green is how it is referred too. But we will see how in various settings, the color shows off or falls quieter into the background. This is due to the lighting in the space, whether it is indoor can light, or natural light coming in from the windows.
Farrow and Ball Mizzle Kitchen Cabinets
This is by far, one of my favorite kitchens I’ve ever seen. The complimentary rich, warm-wood floor and the patterned tile backsplash are just a few other elements that make this a home run for me!
Farrow and Ball Mizzle Images of Family Rooms
The next few examples of Farrow and Ball ‘Mizzle’ images show how this wall paint-color can very easily read darker and stronger gray than green. In each of these rooms, there is some natural light, but little to no can-lights on the ceiling. If this is the case, we are seeing how the color reads darker and more saturated.
This shows how the color does not always read as light and airy.
Mizzle Wall Color Bedroom
Above, we have Mizzle paint color for a bedroom wall. We see how the wall appears more gray than the soft-sage green bedding. Yet, they don’t clash one bit. This tone on tone with a slight variation is still so beautiful. The warm elements of wood and rattan are a great touch too!
Mizzle Wall Color Bathrooms
The above bathroom is a beautiful and eclectic room where Mizzle paint color is the perfect backdrop to some dramatic framed prints.
As we have seen, these Farrow and Ball Mizzle images are ranging all over the place in color. Don’t let this discourage you. Just know that this is par for the course with beautiful complex colors.
This is one of the few install pictures of Mizzle where the walls show off to be more green than gray. This is so beautiful, however, it could be that if this is the look you are going for, there are other greens that can read more truly “green” than this one. If the lighting is not exactly right, you very likely will not get this light and airy result.
Farrow and Ball Mizzle Images in Exterior Settings
This is such an interesting study to get to see Mizzle on a house exterior and also one that is next to an oyster white. If you need more inspiration on exterior house paint colors, I have an article written on that here.
Last but not least! In our survey of Farrow and Ball Mizzle images, this exterior door may just be my favorite! And in fact, Mizzle paint color in this exterior setting reads the most blue-green to me. And I’m emphasizing the appearance of blue. This is because we have the cool outside blue lighting “doing its thing” on the color. And I don’t mind one bit!
I may in fact see if I want to paint my exterior shutters this color. This is one to definitely keep in my back pocket!
