Pink And Green Dining Rooms: You Wont Want to Miss!

Table of Contents

The topic of pink and green dining rooms is near and dear to my heart because that’s how I chose to decorate my own dining room! (See 1st image below). Whatever your color inspiration, Kelly green, chartreuse, pale pink, salmon, neon pink etc, we have it! These pictures of inspiration also include a few links to help achieve your pink and green dining room look!

First, we are going to talk about my dining room design. Now, I didn’t know what direction I was going to take on my dining room until I came across my own “Anchor piece,” which was the inspiring multi-color umbrella fabric I used this for my drapes. Then, I decided to work backwards and fill in the missing design pieces of my dining room.

The citrine chairs were an easy second choice. They are actually from Wayfair of all places! This color, a yellowy-green, is the same color my mom and grandmother have decorated with. So, in essence, it carries a sense of nostalgia for me. My wall color was already this muted blue/gray.

Next, the bubble chandelier! I have seen this in many different home decor shops lately and it always stood out as a happy addition. When I began shopping for them, I noticed that some of the larger chandeliers, with lots of glass balls, were very expensive, like $12k expensive! So, what did my bargain-loving self do? I ordered a $300 smaller version and made it larger with some CB2 glass ball additions! Using fishing wire and skinny nails to hold inside the balls, I was able to attach more! (I will have to get into more specifics in its own separate blog later)!

The artwork is my own, from Whitney Alley Fine Art. The awesome cloud and bird wallpaper on the ceiling felt more than appropriate! It’s from Hyge & West.

How About Throwing in A Sky Blue Ceiling?!

Next, talk about happy, these scalloped green cushion covers! I haven’t come across a scallop I didn’t love. Secondly, the organic botanical scene against the pink wall creates a lot of intrigue. Another happy element that is such a welcome addition is the oversized shell sconces. Have we escaped to a luncheon hosted by The Little Mermaid? Sign me up!

Lastly, I have to give a nod to the courageous sky blue ceiling. This is me taking a mental note!

Pink And Green Dining Room: The Modern Way

Moving along, we proceed to a sleek and beachy-boho room designed by Mary Patton. This is the essence of cool. It doesn’t try too hard, rather it pulls off the pink and green dining room with all kinds of ease. Even the oversized oval dining room table reminds me of a surf board. The organic material of the orb chandelier talks well with the mid-tone wood in the chairs.

The varying pops of color in the sculptures on the table are a fun way to break up the color scheme. I’ll never resist a vivid tomato red.

A Pink And Green Dining Room Using A Kelly Green Armoire

Now, this pink and green dining room is cool because there are elements that could easily be taken away to transform the room into another color-scheme. Tired of the pink and green? Well in a stroke of genius, this designer added some pink napkins and paper machete balls to the center of the table. Throw in a decorative pillow for the end chairs and it’s a match made in heaven.

Furthermore, the Kelly green china armoire is such a beautiful piece all on its own. It could easily be moved to another room, or probably even be sold for a profit if you had an itch for a change! Now, not that I’m saying anything needs to be changed. These variations are just flexible design choices. And flexible is always good!

Sea-foam Green Lacquered Walls Coupled With Dusty Rose, Sighhhhh

And inhale! This room takes my breath away! Beginning with the tone on tone drapes and walls. That was an amazing design choice. Gold and sea-foam green always seem to pop next to each other. Hence, they have a well appointed French antique mirror and gold drapery hardware. The glass round dining table is an excellent choice to help lighten up a room with such a saturated wall.

House Beautiful

The first thing we need to talk about is the beauty of the straw-colored upholstered dining chairs on the bright white wooden chair frame. I love this color combo. Secondly, in another similar article, I wrote about the unexpected beauty of pink and black as a color combination. And they did that with this black dining room table!

Then, there’s the unique floral tapestry on the wall with the perfect, soft, sage-green background. This pulls together that magic combination of pink and green.

Lastly, the burnished bronze finish of the wall sconces and chandelier is the last missing puzzle piece on this eye-catching dining room!

Farmhouse lovers, this one is for you! I love how this room is perfect for everyday use. It ensures it won’t go unnoticed. Wicker, wood, plastic, iron and brick. Look how well they mixed all the elements! This is the second dining room example which has used seafood green and soft pink as their married colors.

This room tells me, I need to be bestie’s with the home owner…. that or the designer! It beckons me to come sit and have a good time. The true-green wall color is brave. Yet it pops so well.

The next thing I notice is the lavish, oversized custom table cloth that grazes the floor. Can we get a source for that table cloth fabric?! The black bamboo chairs are in perfect conversation with the dramatic black frames of the parrot series on the wall!

Lastly, and perhaps the most genius addition is the light and airy, textured white chandelier that looks like it’s made of mini pieces of ocean coral!

When in Doubt, Add a Pastel-Coral Chinoiserie China Cabinet

Once again, this room reminds me of a sophisticated woman jet setting to her second home in Palm Beach to host a luncheon with some of her favorite neighbors. I talk about Palm Beach in plenty of my articles because, in my book, it’s a whole design aesthetic of its own!

Another common combination I come across is a vivid solid color mixed with a botanical scene. Here, the Chinese fabric is just the right amount of airy.

The warm and welcoming yellow walls are the perfect backdrop for the pop of palms plant in the corner!

Mint Green Drapes Meet Coral Pink Built-Ins

To my knowledge, this room is one of the greatest sources for pink and green dining room inspiration! The unique corner built-ins with arched openings are highlighted with a rich salmon pink background. This then becomes the perfect backdrop to showcase the china.

In case you want to splurge and recreate this pink chinoiserie wallpaper, I have linked a fancy replica for you!

The last cool moment is where part of the room is two-tone with a chair railing interrupting the wallpaper and painting a perfect pea green on the lower part.

Pink and Green Dining Room : Hunter Green and Salmon Pink

Once again, we have a courageous hunter-green wall color! Antique paintings with gold frames look knock-out with this deep green background! The fresh vase of poppies goes a long way to liven up the dinner table. And the ferns in blue and white china containers is a fun way to include some blue! I have some friends that no matter the space, they must include their white and blue china pieces! And I respect that loyalty.

I see a double layered dining tablecloth. This is a genius solution to having a top layer be your “throw in the wash,” option, while the bottom layer stays there at all times.

This concludes our survey into pink and green dining rooms. I hope the feedback helps you on your decorative journey!
