Evergreen Fog is a beautiful and complex color. Sometimes it reads as a pale green with hints of grey. Sometimes it reads as a mossy-earthy green. And sometimes it reads as a grey with significant green undertones. Don’t be afraid of the intricacies of this color! I say, enjoy it for all its diverse qualities. If this is the color you commit to, embrace it for however it turns out!
Moody Green Bedroom
This is such a rich room! The deeper ceiling helps add drama to these walls. If you want to emulate this look, you can simply request the paint store make a more saturated version of Evergreen Fog. Perhaps 200% saturated? If that’s too dark, then 150% saturated. They will help you play around with it.
The two-tone aspect helps create a more curated look that was designed with purpose.
In this below example, we see another bedroom with Evergreen Fog walls and a typical white ceiling. So it’s fun to see it both ways!
Craftsman Style House Exterior Painted In Evergreen Fog
What a beauty! Evergreen Fog shows off its green in this exterior setting with plenty of natural light and no shade. A crisp white trim is paired well with it to help it pop.
Using this (above) picture as your main inspiration for Evergreen Fog may be a bit tricky. Seeing the paint color in multiple different settings is more helpful. And this is because this example shows a room with lots of natural light. Therefore, the cool “blue” hue of natural light is cancelling out the warm tones in this paint color. It now appears a cooler gray with green undertones.
IF your room also has lots of lighting, that’s great. This could be accurate for your room. Move forward with getting a sample and creating a paint-board to hold up in this space. I use paint-boards (painting on a cardboard), because it allows me to carry this amazing color into different rooms and see if I would also like it in that room as well. It is a one-and-done option instead of having to paint paint swatches in each room.
Mid-Century-Modern Rooms in Evergreen Fog
When thinking about wall colors for a mid-century modern room, Evergreen Fog is an excellent option. The reason being- MCM design usually includes rust tones, greenery of plants, and crisp whites and blacks. All of these colors and shades look great with a “soft-spoken” green-gray such as Evergreen Fog.
Neutral Green-Grey Bathroom Wall Color
This color can be used as a deep-neutral in a bathroom setting. It can also work as a gender-neutral option if its for little ones sharing a bathroom!
In this setting, the wallpaper and vanity are coordinating tans. The Evergreen Fog acts as a nice pop of color on the wall that compliments these natural-earth tones.

So this is just something to be aware of and to bring your sample-painted-board into the space before deciding on the color.

The drama of this bathroom is beautiful and so well executed. I like this paint color next to the black granite or sandstone counters. The deep “oil-rubbed bronze” hardware also works great against the cabinet paint color. A creamy white wall allows the details of the black-rimmed mirrors and globe-wall sconces to be seen.
