Farrow and Ball Pink Ground – Best Install Ideas For Using This Color!

Table of Contents

Farrow and Ball ‘Pink Ground’ is, by far, the most sophisticated and fail-proof pink paint color there is. It is a soft and earthy pink which doesn’t read too loud (or girly) because it has a higher ratio of yellow in it. Although this would typically cause the color to lean toward peach, it is for sure a perfect-suble pink.

Yes, this is my home! A pink, cabana-striped hallway, why not? Both the wallpaper and the paint color are Farrow and Ball ‘Pink Ground.’ And the wallpaper is that exact paint color on the pink stripe.

I knew I wanted to incorporate a cabana-stripe in my home because every time I see it, it makes me happy. A ‘palm-beach’ vibe became the overriding theme of my home.

When houses are condemned to neutrals, it makes me feel like people are playing the “safe-card.”

Why not evoke joy and happiness through coordinated and well-planned, colorful spaces?

Eclectic Living Room With Pink Ground Walls

I don’t know what year it was when designer headlines began speaking of pink as the new neutral. This was heaven to my ears! As seen above in this living room, the whole space is layered and artistic and eccentric.

This wall color is the glue to the whole room. It says to the space that things were not randomly hung or placed, but rather that they were incorporated into a large, thought-out space.

Grays, whites, navy’s…. yes, these are great basics to use in a living space. Oh, and look how they threw in the Pink Ground paint for the walls and its works seamlessly.

Secondly, add a pale-blush throw to the sofa and the decision begins ‘talking to the rest of the room.’

Bathroom Makeover With Farrow and Ball Pink Ground Paint!

This is one of the most persuasive before and after visuals for designing with color! I cannot get over this bathroom before and after just from the addition of Farrow and Ball Pink Ground paint color.

The addition of a deeper taupe/brown drapery panel is the ideal element to anchor the space and also compliment the wall color.

The mirrors were painted gold to give a nod to an old-world vibe where the plaster walls were often painted in various hues of terra cotta pinks, similar to this one.

Lastly, the deeper pink ottoman adds a nice pop of color to the space to give your eye something to land on.

Are you considering Farrow and Ball Pink Ground for your bathroom? This before and after should be your golden ticket to moving forward with that plan!
