Do you wonder how they created such an amazing space? Well, we are going to go over all the insider tricks to take your bathroom from basic to breath-taking!

The Simple Addition of Fresh Green Plant-Stems in Water

Now, in no way am I minimizing the absolute beauty of each and every detail in this bathroom. From the exquisite wallpaper and hardware down to the antique vanity piece.

But what gives this install its final pop? I think the addition of the plant branch in water is just the added touch. Its airy organic shape is such a cool contrast against the graphic shaped wallpaper.

Furthermore, the fresh vivid green in the plant is the perfect color compliment to the magenta colored wallpaper.

Better yet, you may be able to find a fresh twig such as this, on a walk around the block!

Warming Up the Floor With Beautiful Rugs

How to accessorize your bathroom. I’m guessing many of you may have a bathroom similar to this in the sense that there may be white cabinetry, white and marble tiles and off white walls.

Well, then you need to bring in some color! Break up all the whites with some warm colored rugs. This example captures the essence of it perfectly.

Accessorize Your Bathroom With Accented Hand Towels

Look at what a statement this hand towel with painted horse makes! It’s just the thing your eye settles on with an allover, busy wallpaper pattern. Secondly, the robust flower arrangement and small, gold-accent picture frame are wonderful additional details too.

I’m bummed I don’t know the source of this printed hand towel, but I will continue to search and include the link (later) if I find it!

In the meantime, here are three similar ideas you could choose from: a similar hand painted towel with a horse, a hand painted hand towel of lavender and a hand painted hand towel of pineapples in blue.

Artwork, Colorful Soap Dispensers, Rug & A Pop of Floral

Moving along, this master bath reveals the most accessories to make the biggest visual impact! Where to begin?

Notice how the gold frame around the artwork speaks to ALL the other gold accents, the mirrors, sconces, hardware and light fixture. Our eyes love to draw visual connections around a room.

Secondly, the pop of floral in pink also talks to the cute soap dispensers with pink labels. It’s all in the little details!

Thirdly, the black and white pattern hand towel talks with the dark moments in the artwork as well as the depth of the blue rug.

Lastly, the artwork has moments of both warm colors to coordinate with the counter items, as well as pops of dark to coordinate with the hand towel and the rug.

All these little connections create a visual masterpiece. Challenge yourself to take away all these accessories and the bathroom would not be near as show-worthy as it is right now!

Accessorize Your Bathroom With Fancy Hardware

This whole bathroom is spectacular. But I can’t get over the amazing lion door knockers used as cabinet pulls! This is going down in the books. It makes such a great statement, I imagine myself leaving the bathroom and having to talk about them.

In case you’re in the same boat as me and HAVE to have these, I’ve included some shoppable links below!

Amazon Vintage Door Knocker $49

My last shout out is to the three lucky gods, Chinese figurines on the counter! You may have not noticed them, initially, but they are an excellent and delicate pop of color. If you don’t know much about the three gods Chinese figures, I just so happened to write a blog post all about them!

Add Color to Your Bathroom Through Monogram Hand Towels

There are so many wonderful accessories in this bathroom, but for the point, I’m going to talk about the fun bright orange monogram hand towels.

When in doubt, choose a fresh white hand towel, and then choose a complimentary color monogram in the thread. Here, a vivid orange is the perfect compliment to the navy blue.

Don’t know where to get your monograms done? Ask a few friends, most of the time, someone in your circle knows a local person they like to use! If not, Etsy is a terrific marketplace to search and support a small business owner!

How To Accessorize Your Bathroom With Interesting Artwork

Once again, what an overall adorable bathroom. One of the cooler things that stands out to me are the oversized “French” looking illustrations of men in trench coats. They feel just as whimsical as the all-over Dalmatian dot pattern wallpaper.

I called the illustrations “French,” because they remind me of the Madeline books that I used to read as a kid!

Where To Look For Fun Artwork To Accessorize Your Bathroom

So where can you look for some unique artwork to fit the vibe of your space? First, I’d ask what is your style? Secondly, use the term of your bathroom to google search for some artwork or prints online. Some terms include: traditional, transitional, modern, quirky, farmhouse, Southern, whimsical etc.

I have included some of my favorite places to look through cool artwork to accessorize your bathroom.

This bathroom is definitely a sophisticated take on farmhouse. But it’s laid back vibe and straw-baskets and magnolia branches help create a full picture of a modern farmhouse home.

The cool color scheme of seafood greens and aquas is a great compliment to the warmer straw baskets and brown magnolia leaves. Do you have a bathroom that could use these accessories? Well, they won’t break the bank!

Hoping these accessory ideas have spurred your imagination to sprucing up your bathroom!
